So this is a short read and the first I have read from this author. Overall, the writing style and little dialogue irked me but I kept reading for no known reason I can think of. There were several times the story didn't flow right, and things felt out of place or even unnecessary. Like the storytelling wasn't that great BUT I kept reading...why, I don't know. There is no real character development, no real depth or insight, no real anything but a butcher's named Drew who falls in love with a car dealer named Nicole. Then we get to the ending and now I can't wait to read the next installment...why, because now I want to know what the heck happened to Nicole. I thoroughly enjoyed this short story. Am looking forward to part 2
I enjoyed this book even thou it was short. Drew and Nick were cute together. The chemistry was great too. What I disliked was the ending. FYI.... There is a cliffhanger.
